Osteria La Porta
The tavern is located in proximity of the entrance door of Monticchiello, a nice medieval village near Pienza.
With its few places (it is better to reserve), it proposes an elegant room, furnished with taste in typical tuscan style, it is comfortable and familiar. The courtesy and the professionality of the owner, are an optimal guide in the choice of the plates and the wines.
Gluten free meals.
During the beautiful season it is possible to eat in the terrace, enjoying a wonderful sight on Pienza, the Val d’Orcia and the Amiata.

Devo dire che la mia esperienza presso questa struttua è stata di alta qualità. Location intima e bella, piatti di classe e gustosi, vini nobili ed eccellenti. Oltretutto Chef Moreno, come anche in passato lo ha dimostrato, non smentisce mai. Riassumendo: è stata un'esperienza eccellente.

Bel posto e ottimi piatti. Entrando si trova una bella selezione di vini esposta per poi prendere il pasto nella sala o se si è fra i più fortunati (penso solo su prenotazione da quanto detto) si potrà mangiare nella loro splendida terrazza ammirando un fantastico tramonto (ovviamente se ci troviamo per cena). Mi sono trovato molto bene, ci tornerò sicuramente presto!
