“Il Cipresso” sits on the foothills of Cortona, a world-famous ancient Etruscan town, in the small hamlet of Fossa del Lupo. Spending your holidays at Il Cipresso, located on the border of Tuscany and Umbria, will not only allow you to enjoy one of Italy’s most enchanting valleys but will also allow you to live at the very centre of a territory whose towns and cities really did make history. Ideally and strategically located our farmhouse will allow guests to easily reach by car all major tourist and historic towns and cities and cultural and eno-gastronomic centres of Tuscany and Umbria.

The farmhouse was converted form two old stone annexes that were renovated in typical local rustic style and furnished with traditional Tuscan furniture where both apartments are housed; both apartments open out onto the courtyard adjacent the owner’s home.This is an old Leopoldina farmhouse where the entire family, consisting of seven people all of which are involved in the family business, live together. The about 7 hectares of land included in the estate are cultivated with olive trees, vines, fruit trees and also include a well-stocked vegetable garden personally cared for by over eighty years old Carlo, the head of the family. A variety of barnyard animals are also bred within the farm. All products and produce are reserved for the exclusive use of guests.
