Fattoria Il Peraccio

"Fattoria Il Peraccio" is a fascinating and characteristic small castle with a clock

tower. The central body of the structure goes back to 1400s. It is situated

in Tuscany in the heart of the Florentine Chianti green hills, 25 Km far

from Florence.

The strategical and geographical position close to the railway station gives

you the opportunity to reach quickly Florence and other important Tuscany

cities (such as Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra).

The Castel Sofia farmhouse is the perfect place to spend your holidays in

Tuscany during the whole year. The proximity with the town of Pelago and

Pontassieve gives you the possibility to have all the services needed during

your stay.

In the summer period you can relax by the swimming pool or sunbathe on the

garden surrounded by the breathtaking Tuscan landscape, the farm holidays

offers several easy hiking trails for nature lovers, beautiful countryside

walking routes surround the property and there are several places to see in

the area, including the the Wine Museums, the Natural Park of Vallombrosa,

the zoo, the Medici Villas and the museum of Sacred art.

In the winter time there are a wide range of events organized in the

farmhouse such as the vintage, the olives harvest, the workmanship of the

pig, cookery courses and tours to the ancient cellar of the farm.

The Castel Sofia farmhouse was restructured in 2005, it is composed from

seven wonderful apartments that have been renovated while preserving the

details of the time and furnished in a typical Tuscan style and tradition.

Each apartment is perfectly suited to all our guests needs: apartment for

two people overviewing the swimming pool, to the apartment with several

bedrooms for families.

All apartments have a central heating, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, TV,

crockery, pots and pans and kitchen - bedroom – bathroom linens.
