The company just outside the town of Manciano, was purchased by Mr. Ilva and her husband in 1930 and passed from father to son, first as a sheep and cattle farm, then converted into a farm and olive cultivation and production of honey and in particular that of spaccallocchio or pellet, produced only in lower Tuscany as evidenced by a research by the CNR.Antica Sosta is not only a well-renovated and welcoming cottage, butrepresents the root, the story of people who have lived and managed to save, despite wars, poverty and social conditions, a simple and friendly peasant culture based on true and sincere relationships.With the creation of the farmhouse, efforts have been made to safeguard and respect the original traditions as much as possible.The Agritourism structure is built on two structures, located within a very small nucleus entirely inhabited by the Canti and Nelli families.
