Villa del Fattore is located in a cool place on the slopes of Monte Amiata just a few minutes drive from the Abbey of Sant'Antimo.The resort, Stazione Amiata is an important historical place in the memory of the Valdorcian farmers.In fact, the old owner of the Villa del Fattore, Mr. Nannetti, distinguished himself in the defense of the Italian territory in the First World War.His patriotism was recognized by King Emanuele II as it is written on the award now hanging on the wall of the Villa del Fattore restaurant.During the conquest of Germany in the Second World War the Villa del Fattore area was becoming the target of German attacks in 1944.Heroically dead in battle, Mr. Nannetti is commemorated by a monumental plaque that can easily be found on the west wall of the reception entrance.

The structure completely restored in 2004 is now managed by the Rufini family who takes over the property in 2019 with the idea of ​​maintaining the originality of the Villa with an innovative project, however, which is now sustainable in the development phase to make the structure self-sufficient. From the organic vegetable garden, to the educational farm to the rental of E-Bike electric bicycles and much more.With the aim of rediscovering this fantastic corner of paradise now forgotten for many years called Monte Amiata, with its suggestive views and the station that reveals its long past history.

Villa Del Fattore boasts 4 beautiful apartments furnished with antiques, fabrics and curtains typical of the Sienese country villas.Inside there is a famous Osteria, where you can taste excellent local cuisine in combination with the great local wines.

"La Villa del Fattore" collaborates with Tenuta La Crociona, famous for its Brunello di Montalcino.
